Planning Administrator - Staffordshire - £30,000-£35,000 - Permanent

Your new company

You will be working for a local manufacturing organisation with a presence across the UK and Europe.

Your new role

You will be a Planning Administrator working as part of a dynamic Supply Chain team. This is a key role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting production planning and coordination across departments.

  • Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with stock levels and customer demand
  • Liaise with Sales and Purchasing teams to ensure timely delivery and raw material availability.
  • Update planning worksheets and communicate changes effectively
  • Provide accurate lead times for customer orders
  • Participate in planning and supply chain meetings
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain
  • Perform other duties as required by management

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a background in production planning – preferably from a manufacturing background.
  • Proven experience in production planning (food manufacturing preferred)
  • Strong Excel skills; SQL knowledge desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

What you'll get in return

This is a permanent vacancy with a salary ranging from £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience. Working hours are 8:30am-16:30pm, Monday-Friday. Annual leave entitlement is 25 days, plus bank holidays.
