Hays is working in partnership with a local council to recruit a Project Support Officer within the HR department. This is a fast-paced environment where you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of programmes and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and maintain all workshop calendar invites.
- Respond to or escalate enquiries sent to the EP programme team inbox.
- Book meeting rooms for workshops.
- Update programme trackers and maintain accurate records.
- Record and follow up on actions agreed at Directorate progress review meetings.
- Manage change requests and ensure proper documentation.
- Upload information into the system and maintain data integrity.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Organisational & Planning Skills: Ability to manage multiple calendars, schedule workshops, and coordinate logistics efficiently.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Strong written and verbal communication skills to respond to enquiries and liaise with team members.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in updating trackers and maintaining audit trails.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Problem-Solving & Initiative: Proactive approach to handling change requests and anticipating issues.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in using collaboration tools (Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Excel) and managing system uploads.
- Collaboration & Team Support: Willingness to work closely with colleagues and ensure smooth coordination across directorates.
