Finance Officer - Greater Belfast - Imminent Start

Hays are working with a leading charity who strive to prevent and alleviate homelessness throughout Northern Ireland.
Your new role
As a Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing financial support to the Business Solutions team. You will contribute to the effective delivery and development of finance and office support services.
•Support the finance team with administration and data entry duties
•Credit control
•Maintaining office supplies and information systems
•Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and deal with queries as and when required
•Handling purchase ledger and supplier payments, along with reconciliations.
•Effectively provide admin support to Management team in relation to meetings and organisational events.
•Contribute to planning and development of office support functions
What you'll need to succeed
•A minimum of 5 GCSEs/O levels at Grade C or above (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics.
•At least 2 years of experience in a finance environment delivering effective support
•Experience within a finance setting
•Be a good communicator with strong written and verbal skills
•Experience of organising face to face and online meetings and events to include minute / note taking
•Ability to work from home and from the office when required
•Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
