Recruitment Officer – Lisburn | Up to £32k | Fast-paced in-house recruitment role within a large manufacturer.

Hays are working in partnership with a large, well-established manufacturing business with a significant operational footprint across Northern Ireland and the wider UK. This organisation has experienced continued growth in recent years and offers a fast-paced, supportive environment within a collaborative HR function.
Your new role
As Recruitment Officer, you will take ownership of high-volume recruitment across production and warehouse teams, supporting ongoing headcount requirements and ensuring a smooth candidate journey from attraction through to onboarding.
You will work closely with HR and operational stakeholders to deliver effective hiring campaigns while maintaining strong compliance and administrative processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing end-to-end recruitment activity for high-volume operational roles
Advertising vacancies across job boards, social media and internal platforms
Screening applications and coordinating interviews and registration appointments
Conducting candidate registration interviews, including compliance checks
Managing onboarding processes, including contracts and new starter documentation
Coordinating start dates with internal departments based on workforce demand
Maintaining recruitment data and providing regular reporting and insights
Supporting employer branding activity and attending relevant recruitment events
Ensuring all recruitment processes are compliant and accurately recorded
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in recruitment or HR, ideally within a fast-paced or high-volume environment.You will also bring:
- Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- A confident, professional communication style
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- A high level of attention to detail and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
