Finance Business Partner - Belfast City Centre - £19-23 per hour

Your new role

As a Finance Business Partner, you will act as a key member of the finance team, supporting senior managers and external stakeholders with high-quality financial advice and analysis. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements.
  • Delivering meaningful financial analysis and variance reports to support effective budgetary control.
  • Assisting with annual budget setting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
  • Providing advice on service developments, costings, and efficiency plans.
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors and attending finance-related meetings.
  • Supporting budget holders with training and guidance to ensure compliance and effective financial management.
This role offers significant variety, combining financial reporting, business partnering, and strategic input.


What you'll need to succeed

  • A recognised accountancy qualification (or working towards) or significant experience in a similar financial management role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
