As the IT Risk Manager, you’ll operate in the second line of defence, providing independent oversight of IT risk across systems, processes, suppliers, and regulatory frameworks. You’ll scope out the current risk landscape, identify control gaps, and deliver evidence-based recommendations. This role is highly autonomous and will involve working closely with first-line teams, influencing board-level reporting, and aligning with both PRA/FCA and ECB standards.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong experience in second-line IT risk or operational risk roles
• In-depth knowledge of PRA, FCA, and ECB regulatory frameworks
• Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders across all levels
• Experience with cyber risk, AI policy, and third-party risk oversight
• A proactive, evidence-based approach and excellent communication skills
