Your new company
You will be joining a global reinsurer writing a worldwide portfolio of businesses including Accident & Health, Liability, Property, and Specialty as their finance assistant on a full-time, temporary basis. You will be based in their office in the City of London.
Your new role
You will be a finance assistant and the purpose of the role is to undertake bookkeeping, cash reconciliation, and related tasks in support of the Senior Management Accountant and Financial Controller, whilst building the knowledge and experience to be able to take on further responsibility for further accounting tasks.
Key responsibilities: maintaining accounting records, including revenue journals and assisting in the preparation of the trial balance, being responsible for the preparation of month-end and quarter-end reconciliation work, -performing treasury tasks including maintaining the cash book entries, performing bank reconciliations, facilitating the opening and closing of bank accounts.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you would need some exposure to the Lloyds market, finance experience and have a proactive mindset, with high attention to detail and great communication skills. The role is looking for an immediate start.
