Your new role
This is a newly created role, due to business growth. Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Management of the accounts inbox
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Raising sales invoices (billing)
- Management of staff expenses - review, reconciliation, and processing claims
- Chasing outstanding commission payments
- Assist the wider finance team when necessary, including month-end support, filing and data entry.
- Upkeep of financial records
- Investigation and resolution of supplier and client queries - liaison internally and externally
What you'll need to succeed
- Recent, relevant experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role
- Relevant industry experience in travel or hospitality, with a solid understanding of commissions (hotel/vendor)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to learn
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- You must have legal right to work in the UK without employer sponsorship.
What you'll get in return
