Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting for a leading organisation in the Lincoln area to recruit a temporary Accounts Payable/Finance Assistant.
Your new role
Working as part of a team, you will handle invoice processing, payment runs, reconciliations, and vendor queries, while contributing to continuous improvement and supporting system upgrades. You’ll also assist with month-end and year-end activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have 1–3 years’ experience in finance, including accounts payable/purchase ledger, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication skills. You should be organised, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Studying or planning to study finance qualifications is a plus. You will be living in the Lincoln area as the role is office-based and be available to start work immediately.
