Job Title: KS2 Teacher with SEN Experience
Location: Shipley, West Yorkshire
Start Date: 03/11/2025 (After October Half-Term)
Contract Type: Temporary (Until Christmas)
Salary: MPS/UPS – Competitive Daily Rates Based on Experience

Are you an experienced KS2 teacher with a passion for supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Shipley is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join their team after the October half-term.

About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a Key Stage 2 class, with a particular focus on pupils with additional learning needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons, creating a supportive classroom environment, and working collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to KS2 pupils with SEN
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to support individual learning plans

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and inclusive teaching practices
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A proactive, flexible, and positive approach to teaching
