We’ve partnered with a leading UK storage operator to recruit a Partnerships Manager. The company operates a nationwide network of self‑storage facilities alongside a tech‑enabled storage and collection service—designed to make moving and storing simpler, smarter and available anywhere in the UK.Your new role
As a Partnerships Manager, you will build, grow and steward external relationships that drive brand reach and commercial outcomes across the UK. Your focus will be on forging long‑term partnerships and collaborative programmes—particularly with universities, student accommodation providers and local businesses—to create value for customers and the business.
In this role, you will:
- Identify, negotiate and formalise new partnerships with priority organisations nationally.
- Nurture and expand existing relationships to unlock new opportunities and measurable outcomes.
- Represent the business at industry events, trade shows and student fairs as a passionate, credible ambassador.
- Source and secure sponsorships and collaborations that enhance customer access and awareness.
- Co‑create joint initiatives with partners (e.g., student move‑in support, local community offers), ensuring delivery to agreed timelines and KPIs.
- Track and report partnership performance (weekly/monthly), using data to optimise programmes and inform future activity.
- Work cross‑functionally with colleagues to ensure partner activations are well‑coordinated and on brand
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience building and managing external partnerships, ideally across education or local business networks.
- Exceptional communication and networking skills, comfortable engaging stakeholders at events and in formal negotiations.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to scope, price and deliver mutually beneficial agreements.
- Highly organised, able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset and a proactive, results‑driven approach.
- Confidence using CRM or similar tools to maintain accurate partner records and pipelines
