Are you a committed and reflective practitioner with the ability to support students who are withdrawn from the classroom for behavioural reasons?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced practitioner keen to support the delivery of behaviour recovery at Broadway Academy. Broadway Academy Trust is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and constantly striving for excellence.

The Team
The SEND and Student Services department are a forward-thinking team who are focused on providing a holistic educational experience for all students. We work closely with families and external agencies ensuring that all students, particularly those with additional needs, are involved in all aspects of Academy life. This is achieved through the demonstration of the Academy values through person centred practices and ensuring provision meets the needs of students. We are focused on training and accepting of new initiatives and research to advance the support and expertise that we provide for our students.

The Role
You will have the experience and skills to:
* Supervise students withdrawn from the curriculum due to behaviour and other related issues
* Support students serving an internal suspension
* Ensure there is continuity with classwork while the student is in the Behaviour Recovery room
* Supervise students during lunchtime
* Ensure effective communication between the pastoral team, teachers and relevant members of the Student Services team
* Record, track and analyse the frequency of and reasons for student placements in Behaviour Recovery
* Work as a member of the wider Student Services team, including attending meetings and training as relevant
