Your New Role
We are currently recruiting supply teachers for primary schools across Redbridge. Thanks to our established partnerships with schools in the area, we receive frequent bookings, with many teachers securing 3-4 placements per week at key partner schools. Whether you're seeking full-time availability or occasional placements, this role provides the flexibility to suit your schedule.
Responsibilities:
•Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that align with curriculum plans or adapt materials for cover teaching.
•Foster a positive and well-managed learning environment to support pupil development.
•Follow school policies and procedures to ensure smooth transitions and continuity in learning.
•Provide marking and constructive feedback to assist student progression.
•Leave a detailed handover for the class teacher to maintain consistency in classroom learning.
Requirements:
•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE qualification.
•Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting.
•Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
•Flexibility and willingness to travel within Redbridge.
•A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Hays.
