We are seeking a committed, qualified Social Worker to support the Waiting List team while also being flexible to support triage, telephone calls, and other team needs. You’ll be expected to manage a fast-paced caseload involving older adults, individuals with physical and sensory impairments, learning disabilities, and mental health needs. The role includes both office-based work and community visits.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you must be a qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration and experience in adult social work. You’ll need a strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Mental Health Act, Safeguarding, and Continuing Health Care. A flexible, motivated approach and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment are essential.
