Location: Birmigham
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

We are working in partnership with a nonperforming secondary school in Birmingham, who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher to join their Humanities team on a 0.6 permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys inspiring curiosity about the world and delivering engaging, high‑quality Geography lessons.

The Role
  • Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Deliver well‑planned, engaging lessons that promote strong progress
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive Humanities department
  • Take part in wider school life and enrichment opportunities
The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds QTS (or is on track to achieve it)
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
  • Can engage and motivate students of varying abilities
  • Is reflective, organised, and committed to continuous improvement
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
