We are working in partnership with a nonperforming secondary school in Birmingham, who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher to join their Humanities team on a 0.6 permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys inspiring curiosity about the world and delivering engaging, high‑quality Geography lessons.
The Role
- Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Deliver well‑planned, engaging lessons that promote strong progress
- Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive Humanities department
- Take part in wider school life and enrichment opportunities
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS (or is on track to achieve it)
- Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
- Can engage and motivate students of varying abilities
- Is reflective, organised, and committed to continuous improvement
- ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
