Your new company
We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our warm, friendly, and family-run early years setting. If you love supporting children as they explore, learn, and grow — and you thrive in a lively environment where no two days are the same — this could be the perfect role for you.

You’ll be part of a supportive team that values creativity, teamwork, and a genuine love for early years education. From messy play to outdoor adventures, you’ll help create a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child feels safe, confident, and celebrated.

Your new role

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
  • Supervise and support children during play, mealtimes, and rest periods
  • Ensure the safety, welfare, and safeguarding of all children at all times
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, observations, and daily routines
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Organise and manage daily room operations, including resources and activity planning
  • Lead by example in following nursery policies, procedures, and best practice
  • Support and mentor junior team members to help them grow professionally
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment that respects diversity and individual needs

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong understanding of child development and EYFS principles
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience supervising or leading staff is desirable
  • NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent) is essential
This role is ideal for someone who is caring, proactive, and committed to making a meaningful difference in children’s early experiences.

What you'll get in return

You’ll be part of a supportive, experienced team led by a Principal with over 25 years in early years education. We invest in our staff and believe in creating a positive, rewarding workplace where everyone can thrive.

Benefits Include:
  • Flexible working options
  • 28 days’ paid annual leave (including bank holidays, pro-rata for part-time)
  • One week off at Christmas
  • Your birthday off
  • Regular team days and social events
  • £250 welcome bonus (paid after successful 6‑month probation)
  • Performance bonus
  • Discounted childcare
  • Paid overtime
  • Company pension scheme
  • CPD fund to support your ongoing learning and development
  • Refer-a-friend scheme
