Residential Childcare Worker Needed - Ealing

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Child Care Worker to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people, providing them with the care and support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children and young people in a residential setting, ensuring their emotional, physical, and social needs are met.
  • Work as part of a team to create a safe, nurturing environment, adhering to safeguarding and care standards.
  • Engage with children to encourage positive behaviour and help them overcome challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate with other professionals to ensure holistic care.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
  • NVQ level qualification (or equivalent) or ability to demonstrate competency.
  • Experience in social care, community work, or a residential child care setting.
  • Understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and trauma-informed care.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and practical care skills.
Personal Qualities:
  • Ability to form positive relationships with children and colleagues.
  • Resilient and flexible, able to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Passionate about child welfare and committed to professional development.
Salary & Benefits:
  • £26,668.20 per annum.
  • £50 per sleep-in shift.
  • 39 hours per week.
Additional Requirements:
  • Full driving licence (desirable but not essential).
  • Willingness to participate in physical activities with young people.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviours and work under pressure.
