Rate:£126.00per day (umbrella)
Duration:6 months

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Operations Stores Contact to support the effective management of warehouse stock and parts processing within a large operational environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring the correct parts are available to support field operations and meet contractual service requirements.
You will work closely with operational managers, engineering teams, and approved third‑party suppliers to deliver a reliable, efficient and customer‑focused stores service.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage stock and parts requirements in line with operational demand
  • Monitor and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels within budget
  • Use system reports and contractual information to plan spares availability
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including service desks, engineering teams and operational departments.
  • Work directly with approved external suppliers and repair centres
  • Monitor shipments, arrange collections and manage courier logistics
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within Maintenance Operations
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety guidelines
  • Respond to internal requests and queries in a timely manner

Desirable:
  • Fork Lift Truck experience
