Warehouse Material Operator- Full time- 35 hours- Onsite working
Warehouse Material Operator
- Location: Newport (Onsite)
- Shift: Mon-Fri 7:00-15:00 OR 13:00-21:00, rotational shift. At the start, shifts will be 7-15:00, with two 30-minute breaks unpaid. After 3–6 months, it may include continentals, including weekends.
- Pay Rate: £13.45 p/h
- Duration: 3 months initially with possible extension
- Hours: 35 hours per week
Job Responsibilities
- Processing finished goods stocks from production areas
- Pack finished products stock onto pallets.
- Put away finished goods into warehouse locations
- Send and receive product to and from the external warehouse
- Build a safe environment by actively supporting standards within the warehouse.
- Accepting and receiving raw materials and other deliveries
- Loading customer orders onto delivery vehicles
- Maintaining a safe working environment
Key requirements:
- Side loading forklift – essential
- Experience in a similar position – 2 years
- Computer-literate
- Experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse operations environment
- Able to work as part of a team
