Warehouse Operative / LGV C+E Driver

We are looking for a full-time warehouse operative / LGV C+E driver to assist with the preparation, maintaining, loading and unloading and delivering of stage lighting and rigging equipment across the UK and Europe.

The role will mainly be based around Park Royal as a warehouse operative, with driving duties as and when required. The role will include working occasional weekends and overnight stays off-site as well as trips into Europe. For vehicle insurance purposes, the applicant must be over 25 and have a full British driving licence and valid passport.

Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse:
  • Picking, pepping, helping to build and paint stage lighting trussing, metal and woodwork.
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of the vans and trucks.
  • Managing equipment stock data using the company stock control system and hand held scanners
  • Assisting the cable department with looming and de-looming, cleaning cable and flight cases
  • Complying with all the health and safety requirements
  • Complying with all policies and procedures
  • Ensuring the warehouse, work areas and vehicles are kept clean and tidy.

Driving:
  • Delivering and collecting lighting and rigging equipment across the UK and Europe when required.
  • Adhering to all local driving regulations, legal requirements, and the UK highway code
  • Carrying out mandatory vehicle checks in accordance with company procedures and having awareness of basic vehicle maintenance for our fleet
  • Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy, hygenic, and roadworthy at all times.

For this role you will need the following:
  • Current valid driver CPC entitlement
  • Proven driving experience and full UK driving licence for category C+E vehicles
  • Professional experience of driving internationally, particularly in Europe
  • Possess a good working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and be able to apply this practically to our fleet.
