Your new company

We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Senior Social Work professionals to join our client's Multi-Agency Safeguarding team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This team plays a vital role in safeguarding children by working collaboratively with various agencies to assess and respond to safeguarding concerns. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking an office based role where travelling on visits will not be required, a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for flexibility in their role.

Your new role

  • Conduct thorough assessments of safeguarding referrals.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies (e.g., police, health services, social care) to gather and share information.
  • Make informed decisions on the level of risk and appropriate interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all cases.
  • Participate in multi-agency meetings and contribute to the development of safeguarding plans.
  • Provide expert advice and support to colleagues and partner agencies.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Varied post-qualification experience of working in children's social care services
  • Experience of and commitment to successful partnership working with statutory, voluntary and third sector partners to safeguard and support CYP and their families
  • Ability to work at pace in sometimes challenging and emotionally sensitive situations
  • Well-developed assessment and analytical skills with the ability to navigate and interrogate data to make well-reasoned and evidence-based decisions
  • Ability to communicate clearly and calmly with individuals, families and professionals
  • Proven ability to de-escalate situations.
  • Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
