IHLUK are a registered charity operating nationally to provide housing management and tenancy support to vulnerable adults.

Involves working closely with local authorities and other relevant representatives, such as the NHS.
Your new role
The key tasks listed below are only an indication of the main tasks required to be performed. It is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities and may be subject to amendment to take account of changing circumstances. Any changes will be discussed with the job holder. The post holder will remain co-operative and flexible in line with the needs of the post and IHLUK
Maintain high standards of housing management functions, examples being
- voids and letting paperwork, inspections completed
- resolving rent and service charge arrears,
- anti-social behaviour, safeguarding matters and other breaches are dealt with according to internal procedures,
- health & safety and fire checks are completed/logged
You will also be required to assist with matters such as,
- access for contractors
- move in/out inspections
- ensure properties are ready to let as soon as possible after they are void
- address health & safety concerns immediately
You will work collaboratively with others, such as
- Care Providers - completing Tenancy Outcome Stars for each client, ensuring quality personalised support is provided on a weekly basis, be a point of contact for, and promote positive relationships within local communities
- Admin Team - collecting any documents from the tenant required for a Housing Benefit application or to resolve a suspension
- Stakeholders - participate in stakeholder meetings providing feedback to teams and other managers as appropriate
You will also be required to provide all daily, weekly and monthly reports to the IHLUK management team via our internal Housing software, keeping all notes up to date on the CRM system.
What you'll need to succeed
As this is a Hybrid Role a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required,
Due to the nature of the role and working with vulnerable adults Enhanced DBS Checks are also required,
CIH Qualification or minimum of 2 years property or person-centred support related experience preferable
