Job Overview: This role involves the re-installation and setup of IT equipment across multiple floors, including quiet rooms, admin desks, customer service areas, and tech bars, as part of a structured deployment project. Engineers must follow detailed instructions, ensure proper equipment handling, and maintain communication with the project team throughout the visit, including during construction or decommissioned site conditions.
- Location: Southport (Onsite)
- Daily Rate: 14.54/hr on PAYE or 18.87/hr on UMB
- Contract Length: 1 Day
- Start Date: 8-Dec-25
- End Date: 8-Dec-25
Key Responsibilities:
- Re-Install – Ground Floor - 1x Quiet Room (client to install monitor screens on to newly supplied monitor arms – Arms supplied by property monitors to be installed by Client), 2x Counter Positions, 2x Admin, 1x Online banking Desk, 1x ID Scanner & 1x Network Printer (Admin)
- Re-Install – First Floor – 7x Quiet Rooms (Client to install monitor screens on to newly supplied monitor arms - Arms supplied by property monitors to be installed by Client), & 1x Network Printer (Communal area)
- Re-Install – Second Floor - 1x ID scanner
- Install – Ground Floor – 1x Tech Bar (Tech bar may require a tablet but TBC), 1x Kensington lock to be installed for Tech bar.
- Install – First Floor – 1x Customer Self Service Room (Install)
Key Requirements:
- Every engineer must ensure they have the appropriate PPE kit – hat, high-vis jacket, steel cap boots, goggles, gloves and nose mask, especially on sites that have been decommissioned and are not open branches.
- Storage boxes must be filled per position for removal from the site. – Please note that some sites may not be ready and may undergo construction work during the visit.
- As part of your duties, it is imperative that you read and understand the documents and information contained within the email sent to you prior to your visit.
- You must be able to access this information on-site and also have a hard copy of the ‘Sign-off sheet’. You also need to inform the project team once onsite and again once work has been completed for any work (In and out of hours work).
