Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Hub Engineer!
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Hub Engineer to manage queue tickets, stock, and hardware repairs while ensuring service levels are met. This is an on-site role requiring active Government SC Clearance.
- Location: Abbey Wood, Stoke Gifford – Bristol BS34 8JH (On-site)
- Hourly Rate: £19.34 via Umbrella / £14.90 via PAYE
- Contract Length: Until 30 June 2026
- Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
- Manage queue tickets assigned to the Hub and surrounding spokes, ensuring timely updates and service level compliance.
- Handle Hub stock and asset management, including scanning items in/out of locations.
- Oversee disposals processed through the Hub in line with contractual requirements.
- Triage and perform hardware repairs on in-warranty equipment; liaise with vendors for parts and returns.
- Replenish lockers where required.
- Identify potential service issues and suggest improvements to the Team Leader.
- Adhere to all agreed processes and site regulations.
Key Requirements
- Active Government SC Clearance (mandatory)
- Previous experience in IT hardware repair and asset management.
- Strong organisational and ticket management skills.
- Ability to follow strict processes and compliance guidelines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Additional Information
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
