Hays are partnering with a fast-growing Lloyd's of London insurance company based in the City of London, who are looking for their first Head of Treasury to build out their department.

Your new role

• Working closely with business to minimise financial risk
• Driving treasury-specific projects/initiatives across the region
• Monitoring and managing the organisation's bank relationships and liquidity management
• Managing foreign currency exposure and foreign currency payments
• Analysing various scenarios and risks and reporting to senior management
• Forecasting of medium and long-term funding and hedging requirements
• Daily cash management
• Debt facilities management
• Interest rate risk management and development of risk mitigation strategies
• Foreign exchange risk management and development of foreign exchange risk mitigation strategies
• Preparing management and board reports
• Liaising with senior management across the organisation
• Supporting the month-end process where necessary

What you'll need to succeed

• Professional certification within Treasury is preferred.
• Experience in treasury management, within the reinsurance industry and a proven track record of setting up a Treasury department.
