Hays recruitment are currently recruiting for a transport planner for our client based in the East Kent region. This is a full-time permanent position starting asap.

4 days on 4 days off

8am till 8pm - 12-hour shifts

£40,000 per year

Duties:

- Planning drivers' routes.
- Meeting delivery deadlines.
- Coordinate shipment
- Monitor transport costs
- Negotiate rates with clients / suppliers
- Deliver excellent customer service

Experience / Skills

- Computer literate
- Knowledge within the supply chain industry
- 2 years experience as a transport planner
- Ability to manage transport operations
