My client is a newly established architectural firm based in Norwich, committed to delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions. As part of their growth, they are looking for a Junior Planner to join their dynamic team and contribute to shaping the future of their projects.
Your new role
As a Junior Planner, you will manage routine planning applications from initial enquiry through to securing permissions.

- Preparing and submitting planning applications in compliance with UK regulations.
- Coordinating with sub-consultants such as heritage, ecology, and transport specialists.
- Responding to queries from planning authorities and ensuring timely resolutions.
- Monitoring application progress and maintaining accurate records.

What you'll need to succeed
- Experience: 12–24 months in a planning role (Essential).
- Education: Degree in Town Planning, Urban Design, or related discipline (Preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of UK planning regulations.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines effectively.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player.
