Your new role
The role will be responsible for the coordination of the day-to-day logistics of the fleet across several different vehicle sectors, including Tipper vehicles. The ideal candidate would have experience in a similar role, knowledge of Transport Legislation, have the ability to manage a demanding situation, and be a positive team player.It is essential to be competent in using the Microsoft Office packages and to be confident navigating online platforms, e.g. tracker and work allocation systems. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 7am-5.30pm, with every fourth Saturday morning on call. Communicate and allocate work with drivers as cost effectively and efficiently as possible. Oversee the day-to-day coordination of tipper operations to ensure service delivery and customer commitments are met
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for someone with L ogistics industry experience who has knowledge of tachograph and drivers’ hours regulations. Good geographical knowledge, a positive attitude, a team player with good communication skills. Ability to deal with challenging situations
