Your new role
Key responsibilities:
- Handling client bookkeeping tasks
- Supporting the management of a client portfolio
- Compiling company financial statements
- Preparing interim management accounts
- Creating personal tax returns
- Preparing partnership accounts and tax returns
- Completing quarterly VAT returns
- Opportunity to attend client meetings and engage with directors and business owners
- Assisting in the training of apprentices
- Preparing P11Ds
- Payroll experience
What you'll need to succeed
- Studying AAT / relevant university degree / studying towards ACA/ACCA
- A strong background in an accountancy practice environment, with a solid understanding of working with varied clients
- Excellent organisational skills and a proactive, client-focused approach.
