A reputable organisation is seeking a Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner to join their team in Canterbury. This role offers hybrid working opportunities and is a permanent, full-time position.

Your new role

• Oversight of month-end procedures and preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Preparing accruals/prepayments.
• Acting as a line manager to a Finance Assistant.
• Conducting control account reconciliations, including intercompany accounts.
• Assisting budget managers with finance business partnering, including reviewing budgeted expenditure and income.
• Quality checking VAT returns.

What you'll need to succeed

• Be AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Have a good standard of secondary education, including a minimum of grade C in Maths and English GCSEs.
• Possess a general understanding of finance and ledger work.
• Be analytical with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Have credit control experience.
