Assistant Accountant (VAT)– Salary up to £39k
A fast‑growing production organisation is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts and assist with a range of finance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and highlight variances.
- Prepare and post general ledger journals.
- Support physical stock checks.
- Assist with year‑end audit files and grant claims.
- Perform ad‑hoc finance duties as required.

Requirements
- 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
- IATI qualification (or equivalent).
- At least 3 years’ experience supporting management accounts.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with integrated accountancy systems.
- Experience with handling VAT
