Your new role

• Serve as the primary finance liaison for General Managers.
• Oversee the purchase ledger, handling invoice processing and payment runs.
• Conduct daily bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate Trial Balance entries.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
• Ensure precise VAT returns, financial reports, and adherence to company policies.
• Support payroll reviews, expense management, and drive efficiency improvements.
• Assist in budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with auditors and tax advisors, managing finance system setups for new team members.

What you'll need to succeed

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related discipline.
• Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Xero, ApprovalMax, Pleo, and Datamolino.
• A reputation for honesty, integrity, and reliability.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Discretion and an understanding of handling confidential company information.
• A collaborative team player.
