About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and diligent Gateman/Traffic Marshall to join our team in Nottingham. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and safe flow of traffic on our construction site. Key Responsibilities:
- Traffic Management:
Direct and control the flow of vehicles entering and exiting the site. - Safety Compliance:
Ensure all vehicles and personnel comply with site safety regulations. - Access Control:
Monitor and control access to the site, ensuring only authorised personnel and vehicles enter. - Communication:
Liaise with site management and other team members to coordinate vehicle movements. - Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of all vehicles and personnel entering and exiting the site.
Requirements:
- Valid Traffic Marshall/Banksman certificate.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
