About the Role:
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Traffic Marshal to join our team on a busy construction site. This role is essential to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment by managing vehicle movements and ensuring pedestrian safety.
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Traffic Marshal to join our team on a busy construction site. This role is essential to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment by managing vehicle movements and ensuring pedestrian safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directing and guiding vehicles and planting machinery safely around the site
- Managing access and egress points for deliveries and site traffic
- Ensuring pedestrian routes are clearly marked and protected
- Communicating effectively with site operatives and delivery drivers
- Monitoring and enforcing site safety protocols
- Supporting general site operations when required
Requirements:
- Valid Traffic Marshal (Banksman) certification
- CSCS card (required)
- Previous experience in a similar role on a construction or infrastructure site
- Strong awareness of health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused on a dynamic environment
