Marketing Communications Executive

Hays are working with a business based in Shrewsbury who are looking for a talented Marketing Communications Executive to join their dynamic team. This role combines digital marketing expertise with strong communication skills to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. You will plan, implement, and manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, ensuring consistent messaging in alignment with the brands identity. Creativity, analytical thinking, and collaboration are key to success in this position.
Your new role
Your role will involve:- Digital Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute multi-channel digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, social media, and email campaigns to increase inbound enquiries and web traffic.
- Maintain company and product line brand guidelines to ensure consistent visual identity, tone, and messaging across all marketing channels.
- Campaign Management: Plan and deliver marketing campaigns aligned with the campaign calendar, ensuring timely execution and performance tracking.
- Content Creation & Communications: Create engaging content for digital platforms, blogs, newsletters, and internal communications. Manage brand collateral and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Manage company and brand collateral, including support with internal marketing projects.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics. Provide actionable insights and implement data-driven improvements.
- Social Media & Reputation Management: Grow and manage the companies social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube. Collect and publish client testimonials and product reviews to strengthen brand reputation.
- Amazon Marketplace Support: Assist with creation and maintenance of product listings on Amazon.
- Event & Exhibition Support: Coordinate exhibition and event stands, including concept design, resource management, and attendee briefing.
What you'll need to succeed
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage diverse projects.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and trend analysis.
- Creative and innovative thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite)
- Degree or professional qualification in Marketing/Digital Marketing desirable.
- Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and WordPress (Avada theme preferred).
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and PPC best practices.
- Experience in content creation and campaign management.
- Understanding of AI applications and Generative Engine Optimisation desirable.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.
- Experience with account engagement or marketing automation tools desirable.
