Your new role
As a Test Manager, you will take full ownership of the UAT strategy and execution for a major programme. You will work closely with business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria, build comprehensive test plans, and drive UAT readiness.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Defining and managing the UAT strategy, approach, and detailed plans
• Collaborating with business teams to shape acceptance criteria and test scenarios
• Setting UAT entry and exit criteria aligned to project milestones
• Acting as the key liaison between business, IT teams, and third‑party vendors
• Coordinating test coverage across global units, products, and regions
• Overseeing UAT execution, ensuring full traceability to requirements
• Managing defect triage, prioritisation, and resolution
• Providing clear progress updates and escalating risks where necessary
• Leading and mentoring UAT testers and business SMEs
• Producing dashboards, metrics, and executive‑level reporting
• Ensuring compliance with internal QA processes and regulatory standards

This role requires someone who can start immediately and confidently partner with business stakeholders to deliver a robust UAT plan.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience as a UAT/Test Manager on large‑scale programmes within insurance or financial services
• Strong understanding of policy administration, underwriting, claims, and billing processes
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business and IT
• Strong working knowledge of tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps
• Ability to manage testing across multiple regions and time zones
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving skills

Desirable:

• Experience working on global web platforms
• ISTQB or similar certification
