Test Analyst + Product Writer

Your new company
You’ll be joining a leading organisation within the insurance sector, working on a long‑term project focused on enhancing product writing, pricing, and rating capabilities. This is an opportunity to contribute to a high‑performing team delivering critical testing activities across innovative insurance products and systems.
Your new role
As a Test Analyst with Product Writer expertise, you will be responsible for conducting end‑to‑end testing across product dictionaries, skeleton schemes, RTE/XRTE, and pricing models. You will ensure high‑quality product and rating functionality through structured testing practices, collaboration with technical teams, and effective defect management.
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Testing Product Writer dictionaries, Product Writer modules, skeleton schemes, RTE and XRTE components.
  • Validating rating and product modelling within insurance platforms.
  • Managing test tasks, monitoring progress, and tracking activities to ensure timely delivery.
  • Handling defect management and test reporting.
  • Creating and executing test scenarios, documenting test cases, and preparing functional test data.
  • Conducting sanity checks, functional testing, and regression testing.
  • Using Jira for test and defect tracking.
  • (Preferred) Supporting automation testing using Selenium and Java.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should bring:
  • Strong experience as an Insurance Tester, specifically within product writing and rating.
  • Hands‑on experience with Product Writer dictionaries, RTE/XRTE, and insurance product modelling.
  • Excellent understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proven experience creating test documentation and executing functional/regression testing.
  • Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and reporting.
  • Experience using Jira for test and defect management.
  • (Desirable) Automation testing experience with Selenium and Java.
