We are recruiting an experienced Telehandler Operator for a busy new build housing site in LE2. This is a 2‑week contract supporting a well-established residential contractor during a key stage of their build programme.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating the telehandler safely and efficiently across the site
- Assisting trades with lifting, moving, and distributing materials
- Supporting site management with daily logistics
- Loading/unloading deliveries
- Maintaining clear lifting routes and ensuring safe working areas
- Following site health & safety protocols at all times
- Carrying out basic daily machine checks
Requirements:
- Valid NPORS or CPCS Telehandler ticket
- Previous experience on a new build housing site (desired)
- Strong awareness of site safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with site teams
- Full PPE
