Job Overview:
Installation Technicians are responsible for providing desktop hardware installation services, including unboxing and setting up equipment at desks, connecting peripherals and cables (such as power and network), performing power-on self-tests, and initiating automated builds with simple scripted post-login configurations as needed.
This role requires basic technical skills, attention to detail, and flexibility to work variable shift patterns based on business requirements. The position is scheduled for four days per week, Monday to Thursday.

Rate: PAYE – £13.66/hr (Basic) or UMB – £17.73/hr (Under IR35)
Start/End Date: 018-Feb-2026 to 31-Mar-2026
Work Schedule: Mon–Thur 09:00–17:30

Key Responsibilities

• Installation Technicians provide desktop hardware installation services where basic technical skills are required for a service delivery solution.
• Installation Technicians will typically unbox and install the kit to the desk, connect peripherals, connect cables (e.g. power and network) and perform any relevant power self-tests.
• Basic steps to start automated builds and simple scripted post-login configuration may also be required.
• Technicians may be asked to work variable shift patterns as business requires.
