Join a leading Telecom Provider as a Technician 1.
Job Overview:
- Location: Leeds
- Contract: ASAP – 31st March’27
- Pay Rates:
- Umbrella Rate: £17.72/hour (via a Hays approved umbrella company).
- PAYE Basic Rate: £13.66/hour
- Working days: Monday – Thursday.
- Time: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation Technicians provide desktop hardware installation services where basic technical skills are required for a service delivery solution.
- Installation Technicians will typically unbox and install the kit to the desk, connect peripherals, connect cables (e.g. power and network) and perform any relevant power self-tests. Basic steps to start automated builds and simple scripted post-login configuration may also be required.
- Technicians may be asked to work variable shift patterns as business requires.
Additionally:
- Upkeep of system records, principally ServiceNow
- Strict adherence to procedures, scripts and polices is a must.
- Flexibility of working days will be required, though minimal, with notice.
- This is a 4 days per week role. Monday to Thursday.
