Job Overview:
The Floor Walking role involves providing proactive, on-the-ground IT and workplace support by walking assigned floors daily on a rota basis, identifying and resolving desk-related issues, and ensuring a smooth working environment. The role includes monitoring and managing desk issue queues to ensure timely completion, assisting employees with quick five-minute fixes at their desks, and guiding them to the Tech Bar when more in-depth support is needed. It requires close collaboration with other client service providers to resolve ad hoc floor issues efficiently, while consistently maintaining a strong focus on delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.

Rate: PAYE – £14.90/hr (Basic) and UMB – £19.34/hr
Start/End Date: 05-May-2026 to 31-July 2026
Work Schedule: Mon–Fri 09:00–17:30
Key Responsibilities
- Floor Walking
- Walking floors daily based on a rota.
- Spotting and proactively fix any issues with desks while walking.
- Monitoring and managing the Desk issue queues to make sure they get completed.
- Helping employees with quick 5-minute fixes at their desks and advising them at the Tech Bar when required.
- Interacting and working with other service providers within the Client, to solve ad hoc issues that occur on floors.
- Ensure customer satisfaction is given a high level of focus
