Job Overview:
Seeking an on‑site IT support technician to support a laptop refresh project. The role includes preparing and refreshing devices, managing device handovers, updating workflow records, and assisting users during migration. SC clearance required.

- Location: Bristol
- Contract: 16th Feb’26 – 26th Feb’27
- Mandatory check: SC Clearance
- Pay Rates: Umbrella Rate: £25.77/hour (via a Hays approved umbrella company).
- PAYE Basic Rate: £19.85/hour
- Hours: 37.5 hours a week. Monday – Friday.
- Time: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage and maintain onsite stock, including inventory control and regular audits.
- Perform hardware builds and configuration tasks as required.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures and standards.
- Collaborate closely with the OFS Team Manager on all operational matters.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a technical support or IT engineering role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools and stock management processes is desirable.
- Must be Sc Cleared
