They are currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team and contribute to the ongoing success of the business.

Your New Role

Working as a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a range of CNC machines. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and repairing CNC machine tools, working within a rotating three-shift system. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that all equipment operates at peak efficiency. Your expertise in working with CNC control systems, including Fanuc and Siemens will be essential in this role.

What You'll Need To Succeed

In order to be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications:

A minimum of three years of experience working within a CNC Machine Tool environment • A time-served electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, along with qualifications such as City and Guilds, ONC, HNC, or NVQ level-4 in electrical or mechanical engineering, is essential • You should have a strong knowledge of machine repair, particularly with 5-axis CNC machine tools, and the ability to carry out geometric checks and machine adjustments • Candidates with a high standard of knowledge in electrical and mechanical engineering systems, as well as a good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics, will also be considered.
