Civil Technician, CAD Technician, Engineering Technician

Your new role
As a Civil Technician, you will be an integral part of the civil engineering team, supporting Engineers and Project Leads in delivering technically robust and commercially sound design solutions. You will be involved in producing detailed drawings, models, and documentation for infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Preparing civil engineering drawings and models using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Supporting the design and delivery of site development, drainage, roads, and utilities
Ensuring drawings comply with relevant standards, regulations, and project specifications
Collaborating with engineers and wider project teams across multiple disciplines
Assisting with the preparation of technical reports and design documentation
Contributing to accurate project delivery within agreed timeframes

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this Civil Technician role, you should have:
Experience working as a Civil Technician within a consultancy or similar environment
Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D is highly desirable
A strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including drainage and road layouts
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
A relevant qualification in civil engineering or a related discipline (HNC/HND or equivalent preferred)
