Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Wallasey, Wirral
Pay: £90–£105 per day
Working pattern: Part-Time (Afternoons Only), Term-Time
Contract: Starting from Jan/Feb onwards

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will provide afternoon support within a primary school EYFS classroom. Working closely with the class teacher, you will assist with daily routines and learning activities, support small groups of children, and offer general classroom assistance. You may also provide short-term 1:1 support where required. You will help foster a positive, nurturing environment that supports children’s engagement and development.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you should have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within an EYFS setting. You’ll need a patient and supportive approach, good communication skills, and the ability to take direction from the class teacher. A flexible attitude and a genuine interest in supporting young learners will help you make a positive impact.
