Your new role

We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support in a welcoming and inclusive primary school near Stratford-upon-Avon. This job will involve working closely with the class teacher to support pupils' learning, wellbeing and daily routines. As a Teaching Assistant, you will help to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Teaching Assistant responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with their learning across phonics, reading, writing, and early maths
  • Assisting students who need extra support by running intervention groups and working with students on a 1-2-1 basis
  • Help maintain a calm and organised classroom, encouraging positive behaviour and independence.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant. Hays welcomes all candidates, whether you are qualified or unqualified.

  • Organised and be able to work to your own initiative

  • A calm and understanding approach to working with children
