Hays Education Recruitment is seeking a confident and inspiring Teacher of French to join a successful secondary school in Stockport. This role offers the opportunity to teach engaging French lessons across KS3 and KS4, contribute to a supportive department, and help students develop strong language skills and cultural awareness.

Your new role

• Plan and deliver high-quality French lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to support development
• Create engaging resources that foster language acquisition and confidence
• Contribute to departmental planning and extracurricular language activities
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in French and experience teaching in secondary schools
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to raising student achievement and promoting positive attitudes to learning
