History Teacher Maternity leave - Spring 2025

We are currently supporting a Secondary school in the Sefton area who are working with Hays to recruit a History Teacher for a Maternity leave position starting in the Spring of 2025.

Your new role
History Teacher, planning and delivering quality lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students.
- Follow the schools rewards and behaviour policy.
- To mark homework and to support with assessments throughout
Qualifications
- A degree in History or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching at secondary school level.
Skills
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for working with young people
- Strong classroom management skills.
- The ability to deliver engaging lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
