Your new role

Starting in September, you’ll take on a supply teaching role within the History department, delivering engaging lessons that spark curiosity and critical thinking. Interviews will be held throughout the summer, so early applications are encouraged.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5, depending on experience).
  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons and adapting content to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a calm, inclusive learning environment.
  • Encouraging students through a friendly, engaging, and supportive teaching style.
  • Promoting historical thinking, debate, and understanding of key events and themes.
