Job Description:
They are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team on a fixed-term basis until April 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a key role in developing students’ literacy skills, fostering a love for literature, and preparing them for their GCSE examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in English or a related field.
- Experience teaching English at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
