Your new role
As Teacher of English, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring all students are challenged and supported to achieve their full potential. There would be an opportunity to teach KS5 for the right candidate. You will contribute to the development of the English curriculum and work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning. This is a full-time position starting immediately, and you will play a key role in preparing students for GCSE success.
What you'll need to succeed
You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching English at secondary level. A strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young people are essential. You should be able to demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment. Flexibility, resilience, and a commitment to raising achievement will be key to your success in this role.
An enhanced DBS on the update service is required for this position, or willingness to apply for one.
