Teacher of English – Full-Time Temporary Contract

Contract: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: M1 (£162/day) to U1 (£250/day) – Paid to Scale

Your new role

You will be joining the English department as a Teacher of English on a full-time temporary basis starting in January 2026. This role includes full teaching responsibilities, such as:

Planning and delivering engaging English lessons

Marking and assessment

Attending parents’ evenings

Participating in school trips and extracurricular activities

Becoming an active member of the school community

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

UK classroom experience teaching English

A passion for English literature and language, and the ability to inspire students

Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high standards

Availability to commit to the full term from September
