Hays Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Wirral to recruit a dedicated Primary-trained Teacher to support Key Stage 3 learners. This full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting and is confident in bridging the gap between primary and secondary education.
Your new role
You will be working with Year 7 and Year 8 students, supporting their transition from primary to secondary learning. The focus will be on delivering engaging lessons, supporting literacy and numeracy development, and helping students build confidence in their new environment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a primary specialism
- Experience working with KS2 or KS3 pupils
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A flexible and proactive approach to teaching
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
