Supply Teacher | September 2024 | Competitive pay | Short-term / Long-term

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic supply teachers that are looking for work throughout East Sussex. As a supply teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality teaching and learning experience to students in the absence of their regular teacher. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students and contribute to their educational development.

Based in Sussex for over 20 years, HAYS education offers high-quality supply teaching service, helping schools with day-to-day cover as well as more long-term vacancies. Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and interactive lessons across various subjects and grade levels.
  • Adapting lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborating with other teachers and staff to support student learning.

Requirement:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working as a teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
